Meet the school psychologist, Ms. Aubrey Tardy!
Ms. Tardy received her Bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. She then attended Miami University and received her Master’s and Specialist in Education (Ed.S.) degrees. Additionally, Ms. Tardy is both Maryland and Nationally certified as a school psychologist. She is at ELMS four days per week and works with all students in 6th-8th grades regarding a variety of issues and concerns. As the school psychologist, much of her work focuses on collaboration with parents and educators to meet student's needs within the classroom. She also meets with students for individual and group counseling, as appropriate. Finally, Ms. Tardy is a member of the special education and 504 teams, and assists in determining if students are eligible for services and what supports best meet student's individual needs.
